Suitcase Unicorn Purple BECKMANN

The Beckmann Unicorn Purple kids' cabin suitcase on wheels is made for little travellers: it takes airports and travel adventures in its stride. With a capacity of 22 litres and dimensions of 46.5 × 30.5 × 22 cm, it suits weekend trips, holidays and shorter journeys.

Can this cabin suitcase go on board as hand luggage?

According to the manufacturer, the suitcase's dimensions meet the cabin baggage requirements of the vast majority of airlines. Rules do vary, though, so check the permitted hand luggage dimensions with your airline before you fly.

How a child pulls and carries the suitcase

The telescopic handle is built into the suitcase and adjusts to two positions, so even a smaller child can pull it comfortably, and the handle takes unnecessary strain off the arm and shoulder. The suitcase stands on four double wheels that turn 360°, run quietly and are easy to steer. It glides smoothly through airport terminals and other places along the way.

There's a flexible, rubberised soft-plastic carry handle on top that makes lifting and carrying easier, for example when you put the suitcase into the overhead locker.

How much the Unicorn Purple kids' suitcase weighs

The suitcase weighs 2,400 g. You'll appreciate this most when flying, as the low weight helps leave more of your baggage allowance for children's clothes, toys and other essentials. The polycarbonate suitcase is durable, strong and light at the same time, and quality zips keep belongings safe throughout the journey.

What's inside the kids' suitcase

The whole interior is lined and a fabric divider splits it into two sections. On one side there is a pocket that fits books, colouring books or a smaller toy for the journey. On the other side, securing straps hold clothes and belongings in place, even if the suitcase ends up upside down during loading. So nothing slides around inside.

Which children the Unicorn Purple suitcase is for

The suitcase is designed for children in grades 1 to 3, roughly 116–140 cm tall, and comes with a 5-year warranty. More models are available in our BECKMANN suitcases and luggage category.

The Unicorn Purple design also features on our school backpacks and school bags for first-graders, so the suitcase makes a great companion to a first-grade backpack. See them in our BECKMANN school backpacks and school bags for first-graders category.
