Suitcase Cheeta BECKMANN

The Beckmann Cheeta is a kids' travel suitcase on wheels for little travellers. It's equally at home in airport terminals and on adventures along the way. With a capacity of 22 litres and dimensions of 46.5 × 30.5 × 22 cm, it suits weekend trips, holidays and shorter journeys.

Cabin suitcase for flights: dimensions

According to the manufacturer, the suitcase's dimensions meet the cabin baggage requirements of the vast majority of airlines. Rules do vary, though, so we recommend checking the permitted hand luggage dimensions with your airline before you fly.

Handles and wheels: easy even for smaller children

The telescopic handle is built into the suitcase and adjusts to two positions, so even a smaller child can pull it comfortably. It takes unnecessary strain off the arm and shoulder. Four double wheels turn 360°, run quietly and are easy to steer. The suitcase glides smoothly through airport terminals and other places along the way.

There's a flexible, rubberised soft-plastic carry handle on top. It makes lifting and carrying easier, for example when you put the suitcase into the overhead locker.

How much it weighs and what it's made of

The suitcase weighs 2,400 g. You'll appreciate this most when flying: the low weight helps leave more of your baggage allowance for children's clothes, toys and other essentials. The polycarbonate suitcase is durable, strong and light at the same time. Quality zips keep belongings safe throughout the journey.

What's inside the suitcase

The interior is fully lined and a fabric divider splits it into two sections. On one side there is a pocket that fits books, colouring books or a smaller toy for the journey. On the other side, securing straps hold clothes and belongings in place, even if the suitcase ends up upside down during loading.

Nothing will roll around inside.

Who this kids' suitcase is for

The suitcase is designed for children in grades 1 to 3, roughly 116–140 cm tall. It comes with a 5-year warranty. More models are available in our BECKMANN suitcases and luggage category.

The Cheeta design also features on our school backpacks and school bags for first-graders, so the suitcase makes a great companion to a first-grade backpack. See them in our BECKMANN school backpacks and school bags for first-graders category.
