Backpack Urban Dark Blue 30 l BECKMANN

The Urban Dark Blue 30 l is a blue backpack for every day: studying, work, trips and free time. The 30 l model is the largest in the Urban range. Laptops up to 16" get a separate padded pocket against the back, and the design follows the minimalist Norwegian style that BECKMANN has been developing since 1946.

How the Urban backpack is kind to your back

Comfort comes from an ergonomically shaped aluminium back support. It helps maintain correct posture and spreads the weight of the load evenly. The back panel is padded and has a ventilation system. Softly padded shoulder straps don't dig in, even when worn all day, and an adjustable sliding chest strap holds the backpack steady so it doesn't slip off your shoulders. You'll appreciate this on the daily commute, when walking fast and when cycling.

How the space in the 30-litre backpack is organised

The interior is divided into three separate areas, so everything has its place:

• the padded pocket against the back holds a laptop or tablet up to 16",
• the roomy main compartment takes documents, textbooks or clothes and has two inner sections that keep exercise books and folders apart,
• a second compartment has two mesh pockets for small items.

All three areas close with two-way zips. Your phone, keys or wallet stay close at hand in a small zip pocket at the top front. On the sides there are two pockets for a water bottle or an umbrella.

A blue backpack for the city and for bad weather

The durable, water-repellent heavyweight fabric is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, which is kinder to the environment. It copes with light rain or a short shower on its own. When it rains harder, pull out the integrated reflective rain cover tucked into the base, which protects the backpack and its contents. And although it holds 30 litres, it weighs just 1 kg.
