Won't the backpack be too heavy?
Pupils' backpacks and school bags are heavy because of what they carry inside:
Textbooks, folders and exercise books 1.9 kg
Snack and drink 0.8 kg
Filled pencil case and pouch 0.6 kg
The contents weigh 3.3 kg; with the BECKMANN Classic Max backpack (1.1 kg) that makes 4.4 kg in total.
The backpack itself is only 25 % of the weight, so small differences in backpack weight don't really matter.
Our BECKMANN Classic Max backpack weighs 1,100 g, not a gram more.
Thanks to our carrying system, which shifts the weight to the hips, you don't have to worry about your child's back.
